From October 29 to 31, the Apprentice Sports Days organized by the Army Personnel Office (HPA) took place for all apprentices in the Austrian Armed Forces took place at the Hochfilzen military training area. 170 apprentices and up to 50 apprentice representatives from all over Austria took part.

The Austrian Armed Forces are currently training 264 apprentices. 161 men and 103 women. This makes the Armed Forces one of the largest apprenticeship training centers in the country.
