Every year since 1996, the Austrian Event Award has brought the best Austrian events and their clients before the curtain. This year, the “Airpower 2024” (-> Positive result: 250,000 visitors in Zeltweg) was awarded a “Nominee” certificate as one of the five best “Public Corporate Events” of the previous year.

The award ceremony took place on Tuesday evening as part of the large Austrian Event Award Gala in front of over 400 guests from the communications industry at the Airport Convention Center at Schwechat Airport.

Delighted with the “Nominee” certificate at the Austrian Event Award: Lieutenant Colonel Lukas Leitner (Head of Communications and Marketing at Airpower), Brigadier Wolfgang Prieler (Project Manager at Airpower), Markus Gruber (Managing Director of partner agency GPK Public) and Brigadier Reinhard Kraft (Chief of Staff of the Communications Directorate at the Federal Ministry of Defense).

Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner is proud: “This award is proof that the Austrian Armed Forces is moving with the times in terms of communication and its event concepts. With over 250,000 visitors,‘Airpower 2024’ generated a media equivalent of over 5 million euros and also brought economic added value of over 9 million euros and an enormous increase in overnight stays in the Upper Styria region. I am delighted that the work and commitment behind this project has been recognized with a nomination certificate for the Austrian Event Award.”
