As a subcontractor of JB Investments Limited, Airborne Airborne Technologies was awarded a contract last spring order to modernize four new helicopters for the Polish police last spring. – Shortly before Christmas, the finished helicopters took off for Warsaw.
The helicopters are light multi-purpose patrol and observation helicopters of the type Bell 407GXi light multi-role patrol and observation helicopters, each equipped with an Airborne LINX Surveillance System by Airborne Technologies. These include
- an Airborne Linx Operator Workstation,
- an Airborne Technologies mission management unit,
- a Trakka TC-300 SDIR gimbal,
- a Trakka A-800 searchlight,
- a Trakka TM-100 augmented reality system and
- an ECS downlink.

Ohne die Zusammenarbeit mit professionellen und bewährten Partnern wie Airborne Technologies wäre es uns nicht möglich gewesen, es zu realisieren. Airborne Technologies war für den Design- und Zertifizierungsteil des Projekts verantwortlich und arbeitete zusammen mit unserem technischen Team an der Installation der speziellen Missionsausrüstung.”
In addition to the four new helicopters, three other 407GXi helicopters are already in use by the Polish police. The helicopters are part of the “More safety on the roads – monitoring road traffic from the air” project, which is being implemented with EU funds from the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program.
