Aero Vodochody has taken over Technometra Český Brod. The two companies have been working together for a long time, including on Aero’s new L-39NG aircraft, for which Technometra is one of the main suppliers. Technometra also supplies and repairs the power units for older aircraft manufactured by Aero.

“The purchase of this strategic supplier is aimed at stabilizing and expanding our supply chain. Jiří Linka, who previously held the position of Production Director at Aero, was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors with effect from January 15. In addition to Aero, Technometra also supplies its products and services to other companies, such as Aircraft Industries, Zlin Aircraft and Latecoere Czech Republic. Technometra Český Brod is a Czech engineering company whose production focuses on components for the aerospace industry, in particular hydraulic and pneumatic devices, hydraulic filters, hydraulic piston pumps, gearboxes and axles. The company currently employs around 60 people. Technometra also holds a number of certificates that authorize the company to develop, manufacture and maintain aviation instruments in particular.
