In its second year of existence, GunCon was once again a success for exhibitors and organizers. Organized by the International Shooting Federation (ISB), a wide range of shooting sports topics were once again on display in 2025. We took a look around Austria’s new gun show and present some of the highlights here.

Collectors, sport shooters, hunters, airsoft players and professional gun owners – there was something for everyone at GunCon 2025. The concept of the trade fair worked again this year. Exhibitors and visitors were offered a platform that allowed both direct exchange and sales. There was also the opportunity to obtain information on the latest changes to the Weapons Act from a number of lawyers at the ISB information stand, simply and easily.

Some of the many highlights: Among the numerous exhibitors – over 50 in number – were retailers such as Black Shadow, Kettner and Zweitwaffe.at, and wholesalers such as GMG as well as Reproo, who had various dry-fire training systems available for testing. There was also the opportunity to exchange ideas with some developers of special product solutions: 3Dlab Rupp, for example, showed an extensive range of sophisticated solutions from the 3D printer. Corelock Defense Systems proved that decisive improvements to the rifle sling can lead to a stable shooting position. The belts are interesting for hunting, the sports sector and – manufactured to TL standard – also for government customers. Keyword:

Conotech presented thermal imaging cameras for hunting. Nocturasys surprised visitors with relatively inexpensive night vision goggles (NVG), whose housings come from 3D printers (more on this soon). Steambow presented both the PD-5, the crossbow for self-defense, and a completely new development that we were able to shoot with at the Survival Rally 2025 (

Craftsmanship (Ravn Søsken) and manufacturers of replica goods were also to be discovered at GunCon. The large selection of targets from X-Targets was certainly appreciated by all visitors.

Many other exhibitors were represented at GunCon 2025. As we learned in the
interview with the President of the International Rifle Association and organizer of GunCon Rüdiger Gruber
we learned that GunCon will take place again in 2026.
