“For decades, the Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer has been a central pillar of the Austrian Armed Forces’ flight operations for decades,” reads the press release. Originally designed for pilot training, the PC-7 now also supports airspace surveillance and international exercises.

In order to be able to operate the model for a few more years, the Austrian Armed Forces are currently carrying out a small cockpit upgrade.
